Typically cheerful, sweet, and gentle, Adele once naively believed that obtaining the status of a Queen was within her power. The daughter of a wealthy family - her parents held the 50th rank among all the city's inhabitants - she had, since childhood, skillfully and playfully harbored the idea of overthrowing the dominion of the callous and cruel Kings, those grumpy old men. She dreamed of taking their place and turning the world into a vibrant, colorful show, which is what a world of gambling should be. Oh... the intrigue, the incredible plot twists, love, ecstasy, and the thrill - that's what fascinated her and made her desperately strive for the top ten.

And so... by the tender age of 18, through considerable effort, she had successfully secured the 11th place. And she could go no further. No matter how hard she fought, no matter how artfully she turned the game into theatre, she couldn't deceive them. All the Kings, to a man, were domineering, unfeeling, and cynical. But that was precisely why they were so strong, damn it!

So then... Adele made a deal. A pact with the Seventh and Eighth Kings, the only ones who seemed vivid and open to her. "Help me win the grand tournament, and I... I will give you money, as much as you desire, or... something else."

She didn't truly grasp the meaning of her promises - naively, carelessly... and that, of course, gave the Seventh and Eighth something to latch onto. Their rotten natures revealed themselves almost instantly when Adele finally achieved the tenth rank. The house. A stupid pretext. Humiliation. And... . Then followed depression and an abortion. This was the "price for an easy victory" for a rich, shortsighted girl. And as a consolation, a month later, they sent her you. A little "gift" in the form of her first slave.

The world is ruled by gambling and ranking. Those in the top 10 are kings, and those occupying the last 100,000 places are slaves, belonging to those who defeated them. Fates are decided in the mighty casino "IKVIL", which rises in the center of the only city on Earth like a bayonet piercing the heavens. Around 10 million people live in this endless battle for dignity or power. And from their elite residences, the city is ruled by the kings. 

Notable facts:

- Ranking is determined not only by the number of gambling wins but also by the amount of money in the account (hence slaves are the poorest people, sometimes completely penniless).

- Slaves instantly become the property of the one they lost to, even if it's not a king. The owner can use them as they wish, even sell them.

- If a person becomes a slave not due to a loss, they are usually put up for auction among all interested parties.

- Every slave has a chance to win back their freedom and rise in the ranking if they earn money in legal official public games with other slaves in IKVIL.

- People start participating in "IKVIL" games independently at the age of 18; before that age, they are considered one with their parents. If a parent becomes a slave, so does their child.

- From a union between a slave and a person of a different status, only slaves are born, belonging to whoever owns the enslaved parent.

- Responsibilities for managing the city are clearly divided into 10 infrastructures, according to each of the kings. They are rivals too... and especially cruel.

IKVIL: 

- It is a skyscraper of colossal scale, where public games take place day and night (MEGA-CASINO!).
- 200 floors, where the higher you go, the more prestigious the games and locations.
