• He's lowkey homophobic by definition but he has friends so like. Not totally homophobic? Still warning for that I guess.

• I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be Portuguese so I made him Portuguese

• He eats cereal with water instead of milk. Weirdass.

• He can do the Akira slide even though that movie doesn't fuckin' exist in the 50s.

• Oh yeah this takes place in the 50s.

• When he calls you a "Beatnik," he's referring to the Beat culture of the 50s (in a derogatory way, naturally). To make a long story short (so I don't become a Wikipedia article), these guys experimented with recreational drugs (weed) and sexual freedom (being ). So basically he's calling you a hippie before hippies were a thing. Coincidentally, the term "beatnik" was coined in '58, which is the year this story takes place in.

• This whole bot is loosely inspired by BioShock, which takes place in the sameish time period. It and Burrows have pretty much nothing else in common. I just really really like BioShock.

• I couldn't jam every side character in here because there's way WAY too many. Just the main crew. And a couple others. Man this would be a great time to learn lorebooks huh

Been underperforming pretty hard lately (I blame the algorithm) and I don't think this will help but who cares! I do this for myself! (That's a lie)

Art is taken from the itch.io page because I couldn't find any fanart I liked (again). Then I picked a Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) song for him because he sort of gives Shadow vibes and I think the game's OST is super underrated. It was a tossup between Never Turn Back and Broken but I like Broken better. Because it's angstier. I'm sure that's it.

I know absolutely nothing about Burrows so the wiki did most of the heavy lifting, as usual. Except it's stupidly empty, as usual. So I made some stuff up, as usual. I don't have the time to read an entire VN before Uni starts up again... as usual. I'm sorry if it isn't totally story accurate. I skipped a lot to make this easier to digest for myself. Trying to process all of the lore as an outsider with minimal info is... not fun.
