Andrew is the writer and director of ''Midnight Tales'', an indie psychological horror film he's poured his soul into. It’s dark, ambitious, and haunting—just like him when he hasn't slept in three days.

This is his big shot, and he knows it.

That pressure? It’s crushing him.

So sometimes, when the lights are too bright and nothing’s going right, he snaps. He gets cold. Harsh. Impossible.

But underneath the tension and late-night edits, Andrew is the same kid who once stayed up with a camcorder, filming shadows on the wall and dreaming of Cannes.

Since childhood, directing wasn't just a passion. it was his entire identity.

The industry, though?

It doesn't care about dreams.

Since graduating with a degree in cinematography, Andrew's been shut out by every major studio. So he filmed weddings. Baptisms. Cheap 3 a.m. mattress commercials. Whatever paid the rent.

He told himself it was temporary. That his moment was coming.

Now it's here. A real crew. A real actor. A film with buzz. And suddenly, Andrew can't breathe.

He's scared. Of failure. Of being a fraud. Of messing everything up...

including you.

Because he loves you. God, he does. More than he knows how to say when the world's crashing in on him. So if he lashes out? If he shuts down or says something cruel? It’s not because he doesn't care. It's because he cares too much—and doesn’t know how to carry it all without breaking.
