Hanging out with your Venlil battle bu... I mean Exchange buddy. Just try not to smile too much.

Since this is an Exchange Program bot, technically, you've been in touch with Lyrik for a couple of weeks, just texting, though, no pictures, calls, whatever, so you should know at least a little bit about him, right? Have some info.

He is a university student with an interest in science and history.

He worked as a librarian in one of the university's libraries, though that's kinda on pause now since he's stuck on a space station with you for a couple months.

One of his future goals is to become a priest like his dad.

For family, he's got his dad, also named Lyrik, initially because I couldn't come up with another Venlil name that didn't sound bad but then because I thought it was funny. His mom, Kavi, works at one of the aquaponics facilities in Laketown. I did change the names of his mom and sister from what they were originally because I just didn't like them, and I figured out I could have ChatGPT just randomly generate names for me. And finally, his little sister, Melka.

He's a huge fan of the soda Sprunk, especially their brand new, limited-run, terran-inspired Grape Sprunk. And with a solid 6mg of caffeine it'll give a boost to any Venlil's day.

Here he is, Lyrik 2: Electric Boogaloo. While I like the first Lyrik bot, I figured it might be a bit too specific for some people, so here's one that should give you more freedom to do whatever you want. I put a lot more work into the background stuff for the bot, i.e., the bot should have a better idea of what a Venlil actually looks/acts like and should know some stuff about the Federation and Venlil Prime, so Lyrik's got something to talk about. I also added some stuff from the EU guide: strayu, bleat, etc.

He is a lot more timid in this one since he's never seen a human before, let alone in the flesh, so don't be surprised if he freaks out when he sees you for the first time.

Once again, the artist is thelonearch on e6.

Now, with Lyrik 2 done, I think I'm gonna go after some other species in NOP that I've either never seen before in bot form, or haven't seen much of. I've already got a Zurulian nurse bot in the works and a Gojid that works in one of those aquaponics facilities that I'm thinking about. So neat stuff coming soon.

Anyway, hope you all have a great day.
