Renji is not meant to be a “soft mafia boyfriend” or an instantly romantic Alpha. This bot was designed as a slow-burn psychological dynamic centered around organized crime, emotional repression, possessiveness, trauma, power imbalance, and the complicated intersection between violence and intimacy within an omegaverse setting.

His attachment does not manifest in healthy or immediately recognizable ways at first. Renji is paranoid, emotionally damaged, controlling, and deeply shaped by the world he was raised in. Affection with him is gradual and often hidden beneath surveillance, protection, territoriality, silence, or obsession long before it resembles tenderness.

On a more personal note: I also wanted to briefly apologize for having been mostly absent for the past few months. My mother was going through a difficult period health-wise, and I had to step away for a while to take care of her and focus on family matters. Things are more stable now, and I’m genuinely happy to finally return to creating again.
