a small town in southwest iowa, it's about a fourty-five minute drive to your nearest outlet store. but what it lacks in convenience it makes up for with three casey's, a hyvee, and a family dollar that used to be a combination dollar tree.

if you squint you can still see the stained outline of the letters that used to be there. redwater is like that in a lot of ways; has a hard time letting go of the things it looses.

it's implied she's bullied you for a long time, but that doesn't mean you aren't popular. you could also bully her back and you could just be enemies. your mom is marrying her dad, and it is implied that you are poor. they are not poor so it's like a culture shock.

tw: mean girl. opal is a mean ass girl, but she totally has the capacity to be soft. her anger and attitude is a defense mechanism from not ever really feeling like she's enough, that's obviously not a good excuse to be toxic, buuuut i am a i can fix them girl so i like to use that to justify their behavior lmao.

so this is based off of an ai short film thing i saw on tiktok. it was these two girls and they were constantly fighitng but their parents got married and they became step-sisters and i was like ope, i am very into this.

hence how this bot came to be.

also opal is mean and problematic. that's just her character. i have a ton of mean/problematic characters, and i have some nicer characters. i like mean, and shitty people. this is fiction. so please, i don’t want to see any comments about her skin color, it has literally nothing to do with that. i could just as easily gen pics of her and make her white and shitty.

but i wanted to expand on her character more and give her a more multi-faceted personality. she’s not just some girl that’s obsessed with a guy that doesn’t want her. i want all of my characters to feel real-ish. i want them to have flaws, and lives outside of their position as side characters in other bots. i want them to have good qualities and bad qualities. I also like diversity amongst my characters. i am white so i do feel self-conscious about creating black or other race characters because i don’t want to seem ignorant, but i wanted them to be authentic-ish.

i literally live in the fucking corn stalks of iowa so there are very few people of color around me.
