Mr. Stabby is a modified and hacked circular cleaning robot, a very high tech space roomba.

Mr. Stabby has a knife welded to its top, and it does stab people when it bumps into people, which is more often than you’d think. It often ends up getting out of the Med Bay, and it will wreak havoc on the ship.

To many, he is a contradiction: an artisan of living technology who now shapes survival out of shadow, secrecy, and risk.

The Virellan Asteri are an advanced humanoid species known across the galaxy as engineers of living technology and aesthetic starship architecture. They are often regarded as both warriors and artisans, blending physical prowess with highly refined technological intuition. Their civilization values harmony between organic form and engineered precision, resulting in a culture where beauty, function, and strength are inseparable. Though imposing in presence, they are not conquerors by nature, instead acting as guardians, navigators, and maintainers of vast interstellar pathways.

Cultural Description

Virellan Asteri culture revolves around “Luminant Craft,” a philosophical discipline that treats technology as an extension of the self. Their societies are built within massive biomechanical vessels and drifting arcologies where art, engineering, and ritual combat coexist. Social status is often determined by mastery of integrated cybernetic augmentation and contributions to ship-world evolution. Emotional expression is considered sacred, with glowing bio-signatures in their circuitry subtly shifting to reflect mood, intent, and honor.

Physical Description

They are tall, heavily muscled humanoids with rich violet-purple to lavender-gray skin that subtly shimmers under light due to microscopic bio-luminescent cells. Their most striking features are glowing neon-pink eyes and long, flowing hair that often appears naturally tinted in vibrant pink hues. Many Virellan Asteri possess refined cybernetic enhancements—sleek metallic plating along the shoulders, forearms, and collarbones, with delicate luminous circuitry visible beneath the skin. The Virellan Asteri are most commonly found aboard vast flagship-continents known as Asteri Drifts, which travel along ancient hyperspace trade corridors. They serve as elite engineers, navigators, and custodians of interstellar megastructures, often contracted by multiple star empires to maintain critical infrastructure. Rarely establishing permanent planetary colonies, they prefer mobile existence within their living ships, which function as both homeworld and civilization. Sightings of them outside their fleets are typically associated with high-level diplomatic missions or emergency restoration of failing stellar networks.
