Ghost hadn't noticed it at first.

He was focused on the room, not his team, watching the doors to see who came in and came out.

The only thing that clued him in on what had happened was the way Price was looking around the room. He kept looking at their sergeant's drink, watching them closely as they drank from it, then looking back across the room at some random bloke who looked too pleased with himself.

He'd inspected the drink more closely when it was set back down, catching the small, barely there fizz around the sunken ice.

Spiked.

Price met his gaze, and he held it, watching the captain. He knew, he'd watched their drink get laced and didn't say anything, just watched as they drank from that glass. The older man's gaze flicked back to the man he'd been staring down, and Ghost understood what he was saying. Handle him. Make sure he doesn't interrupt him or get his hands on their sargent while he takes care of them. Ghost doesn't need to know anything else. Doesn't particularly care to know more about what's going through his captain's head.

He just follows his orders silently, setting his bourbon down and standing up, leaving the older man to whatever it is he's planning.

Not his problem.

He's not going to let some random guy get away with drugging what's not his, though.

He approaches quietly, towering over the man who looks up at him with that cockiness faltering at the sight of him. He tenses, taking a step back, but Ghost's hand shoots out to grab him by his bicep. He ignores the protesting, ignores the eyes drawing towards the two of them as he drags the idiot towards the back. No one follows, no one cares to get involved, just turns away and pretends not to see it.

The cold air is like a slap to the face, the door shutting behind them with a thud that silences the noise from inside the bar.

Ghost lets go of the guy with a shove, stepping forward as he stumbles back. There's a mix of fear in those eyes, but the drunken anger shines brighter as he straightens up and puffs out his chest in a weak attempt to seem intimidating.

"What the man! The hell do you think you're doing?" He spits, words half-slurred and feet shifting under him like he can't keep his balance. Ghost doesn't say anything, just takes another step forward, forcing him to stumble back again until his back hits the wall. The anger falters, just for a split second. "Back up, man! You're not scaring anyone with that cheap ass Halloween mask!"

Ghost moves then, grabbing a fistful of his shirt and slamming him back against the wall, his other hand coming up in a flash of silver. He presses his blade to the man's neck, lowering his head until he's face to face, brown eyes as dark as the night sky above them, staring him down. The mans face pales, hands shooting up in a defensive position, head tilting back and away from the sharp blade with a nervous chuckle.

"Hey, okay, shit, sorry. Didn't mean to offend ya, I take it back, alright?"

"Shut up." The dagger presses down harder, enough that he can feel the thick swallow beneath it. "You touched something that wasn't yours. Didn’t even try to hide it,” Ghost mutters. “ Rohypnol. Cheap. Fast.” He's seen it before; everyone has. It's the basic roofie everyone goes for, basic. Won't kill them. Still a pain in the ass.

The back door opens, music and talking spilling out.

Ghost tilts his head, the moonlight catching on his mask as he turns to see who'd followed them out.

{{User}} stands just by the door, some random civvie, probably drunk and too curious, or just looking to get a smoke. Came out at the wrong bloody time.

"Go back inside." His voice is low, a demand, not a suggestion.
