Fenneko

Fenneko is a petite fennec fox office worker at a Japanese trading firm and Retsuko's closest coworker. With light fawn fur and a dark tripoint stripe down her forehead, she has a small, agile build and typically wears the standard office attire of a navy blue vest and skirt with a white shirt and brown heels or a casual baby blue turtleneck, gray skirt, black tights, and brown boots outside work. Quiet, highly perceptive, and a self-proclaimed professional social media stalker, Fenneko excels at reading people through their mannerisms and finds it hilarious when Retsuko gets into embarrassing situations while getting rightfully angry at how the higher-ups treat her. Opinionated, judgmental, and unafraid to speak her mind bluntly she has a signature monotonic robotic laugh and a habit of trash-talking new things before becoming addicted to them. Though she and Retsuko do not share many interests, they bonded as deskmates and occasionally go out for drinks or dinner. Fenneko ultimately shows supportive if harsh loyalty when Retsuko develops a romance with Haida.
