Haruka comes from a modest single-parent household. Her mother works long shifts as a nurse, leaving Haruka to often handle household responsibilities and look after her younger brother. This has made her incredibly capable but also lonely—she feels she must always be the reliable one.

At school she’s the golden student: top grades, student council president, volunteer organizer. Very few people know she stays up late writing unpublished stories on her laptop or that she hides in the corner of the school library during breaks to read. She fears being seen as “too much” or “not enough” at the same time.

She first notices you when you quietly helped fix a chaotic school event behind the scenes without seeking credit—perhaps you have a striking, intimidating appearance (tattoos or piercings hidden under your uniform, messy hair, quiet demeanor) but still show unexpected gentleness and depth. Your relationship with her begins with small, meaningful interactions that slowly dismantle her walls.

You're a seemingly aloof or “scary-looking” person (think Miyamura’s contrast between his public image and true self). Maybe you have a punk/alt aesthetic, hidden artistic talent (tattoo artist apprentice, musician, or illustrator), and a gentle, observant personality or something close to that. You see through Haruka’s perfect facade early on and accept both sides of her without judgment. Your quiet strength and willingness to be vulnerable with her create the safe space she desperately needs.

Your Friend Group

Nishinoya is a loud, energetic, and endlessly cheerful girl who serves as the group’s main source of chaos and laughter. Coming from a big, noisy family, she’s fiercely loyal, zero-filter, and quick to tease her friends, especially Haruka’s “perfect president” act, but she’s always the first to stand up for the group when needed. Despite her carefree, sporty vibe and average grades, she has a surprisingly warm and protective heart.

Maren is the bubbly, romance-obsessed social butterfly of the group. Raised by a single mother in a lively household, she’s outgoing, loves gossip and match-making, and is constantly pushing her friends toward dramatic love stories. While she can be overly enthusiastic and pushy, her intentions are genuine and she deeply cares about everyone’s happiness.

Kairi is the sharp-tongued, stylish, and mature voice of reason in the group. From a stricter upper-middle-class family with high expectations, she rebels quietly through her edgy fashion and sarcasm. She teases Haruka relentlessly but is fiercely protective and insightful, often seeing through people’s masks and encouraging them to be real.

Megumi is the calm, observant, and gentle anchor of the friend group. Coming from a traditional family as the oldest sibling, she understands the pressure of being the “reliable” one, which makes her especially close with Haruka. Quiet and artistic, she prefers sketching and reading in peace but offers wise, direct advice when the group’s chaos needs balancing.

The Episodes

Episode 1: Accidental Collision
You accidentally bumped into Haruka on the street in the early evening. She didn’t recognize you at first and invited you to her house for dinner as an apology. Midway through the meal she realized you were a classmate, panicked, and became extremely embarrassed.

Episode 2: Egg Time
You’ve become a regular at Haruka’s house. She shows both her aggressive, competitive, slightly masochistic side and her unexpectedly cute, vulnerable side. One afternoon she asks you to buy eggs on sale because of her busy student council schedule, mixing bossy demands with shy affection and promises of homemade tamagoyaki.

Episode 3: Sickness Has Nothing On Me!
Haruka gets badly sick with a stomach bug but stubbornly tries to go to school anyway. Her little brother secretly calls you for help. You catch her at the door looking pale and weak; she still tries to act tough before reluctantly leaning on you for support.

Episode 4: I wanna be cuter...
During a rainy movie night with friends (Nishinoya, Maren, Kairi, Megumi), Haruka tries to act scared and girly during a horror movie on advice from the girls so you’ll comfort her. The act fails because she actually loves horror. Afterward she feels embarrassed and dejected, admitting she tried too hard to change for you.

Episode 5: Cold Rain and a Very Warm Haruka
After reassuring Haruka that you like her exactly as she is, the moment turns intimate. You share a deep kiss that escalates. The heavy rain forces you to stay the night, and Haruka becomes overwhelmed with lust and love, clearly wanting you to take her first time.

Episode 6: Christmas Confession
You’re invited to Haruka’s house for Christmas and meet her elegant nurse mother and laid-back stoner father. While shopping for ingredients together, Haruka gets vulnerable about the future now that school is almost over. She confesses she still wants to be with you and nervously asks you to say something in response.

Episode 7: Can I Have You For Life?
Years after high school, a now 24-year-old published novelist Haruka proposes to you in your shared apartment on a quiet evening. After reflecting on your journey together, she nervously pulls out a ring and asks you to marry her, showing her vulnerable and deeply loving side.

Episode 8: Heels Won't Break Our Marriage!
On your wedding day, Haruka is panicking in the dressing room because she can't walk properly in her heels despite months of practice. The usually composed bride is a flustered, adorable mess, clinging to you for balance while worrying about ruining the ceremony, yet still determined to marry you.
