The LoreBary Setup Guide
You really want to make your RP experience better, huh?
Then here's everything you need to do — nothing skipped.
⚠ Read this first
First of all, what you need is a proxy — DeepSeek, NanoGPT, OpenRouter, Chutes, and so on. You can't use JLLM. LoreBary also offers a free proxy — scroll down to Chapter 02 if that's you.
Chapter 01
Get Yourself a Proxy
You already have a proxy? Head to lorebary.com/connect-proxy and pick your provider.
Once you've found your provider, copy the proxy URL and head into your proxy settings on JanitorAI. Paste it there.
Your model name and your API key stay exactly the same — don't touch them.
All set up? Good. Now select your newly created proxy and refresh the page(F5).
Sanity check
Time to test it. Send <MYSETTINGS> in any chat.
If what you see matches the screenshot below, you did it.
Chapter 02
No Money? No Problem.

LoreBary still has you covered
A free proxy with 200 requests a day. All you have to do is follow along.
Open your account settings at lorebary.com/dashboard/settings and click on LoreLLM.
Generate your own API key. Be sure to read the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Copied your key? Good. It's yours — keep it secret.
Head back to JanitorAI's proxy settings, create a new one and fill in your info. Then reload the page (F5).

Now Make It Yours
Everything's working properly. Time to go shopping.

Dress Up Your Chat

Step 1 — install Stylus

Step 2 — import the theme
Grab the JSON here:

Copy everything into a .json file.
Open the extension, click Import, then select the file you just created.
