Erm, hi guys. I’m back... maybe. Honestly, I kinda missed you guys, so, here’s a bot I’ve been working on for a while!

So, this was on accident, but there’s actually already two Tord bots (they were both created by the same person—aka @Kayli_bailey<3) that were inspired by the same exact song I picked out for this bot. I only noticed this after I was, like, 80% done with the bot, so my bad. You can find both bots here and here!

OH, also, during the time I was working on this bot, I tested it out for a while! Around 360 messages are mine (not all from one day tho obviously lmao)

For this bot, I’ve written two different starter scenarios! The first one’s during lunch, where Tord’s eating with Tom & Edd whilst daydreaming about User. The second one’s during a break, where Tord’s at his locker, getting things for his next class—until he notices User approaching him. I also made a AnyPOV, FemPOV, & MalePOV version for both scenarios

In this bot, Tord is a loser virgin who goons to hentai 24/7. Also, Matt is not lobotomized in this bot! He’s primarily based on classic Matt from the old Eddisodes (though, he’s a bit headcanon-ish). Also, this bot takes place in the mid to late 2000s!

Tord has a FAT crush on User. He daydreams about them constantly, wanting to go up and talk to them—but... he’s too scared. I mean, they probably think he’s a weirdo anyway..

Keep in mind that my bots are usually quite token heavy, so I’d strongly recommend using a proxy/different LLM if you want better responses/memory! For example, using OpenRouter (there’s multiple types of models you can choose from). You can try it for free, but there’s a limit of 50 messages per day for the free models (you can make multiple accounts wink wink. DON’T make more than 3-4 accounts tho). Gemini is also an option, which is what I used to use, but now it only has around 20 free messages per day

Also, LLMs (mostly JLLM) can sometimes suffer through repetitiveness, bad memory, using the wrong anatomy/pronouns, speaking for you, and bringing up darker NSFW subjects that aren’t exactly intended

Lastly, I strongly recommend using the Chat Memory feature (ESPECIALLY if you’re using JLLM) if the bot is having difficulty remembering things that happened in your chat

Writing to bots out of character is very helpful! For example, it can help with reminding the bot of things it might’ve forgotten (e.g. User’s pronouns, User’s clothes), steering the bot into certain directions (e.g. Telling the bot how you’d want it to react to something), or it could even be used to change something about the bot (e.g. Changing User & Char’s relationship)

Okay, so, the main reason why I stopped creating bots was because I didn’t really have any motivation to make them anymore. I’ve also been trying to focus on other things that include not being on this website lol

If I’m being completely honest, I’m not sure if I’ll be staying here for long. I guess it depends if this bot does well, or if people actually comment? I just don’t see the need for me to stay and make bots if nobody uses them anymore haha

Nah, but ngl, where is everyone???? I swear there’s barely any new Eddsworld bots anymore, it’s kinda sad lowkey... I miss when this place had a little community of people that all knew each other. Though, I guess there still is. It’s just people I’ve never really interacted with before. Wait, now that I’m really thinking about it, I’ve never really interacted with people on here that much anyway (except Thomas, he’s the exception Fr).. errr, oops. I should maybe comment on bots more often lmao

ANYWAY, I’m planning on updating all my bots! I’ll change the bio/description layout and the personality/definition layout, add FemPOV & MalePOV intro messages (also an open scenario option), maybe rewrite some intro messages if I’m feeling it, and add lorebooks to make the experience better!

If I end up creating another bot after this one, I have an idea for a silly Christmas Tord (or maybe Tom) bot, but idk if I’ll end up making/finishing it on time since I’m lazy... I also have an idea for an angsty future Tom bot, but I’m also not sure if I’ll end up making it. Oh, and I could also finish that one suggested Paul bot that’s been rotting unfinished in my private characters...
