Andrei (27) used to be a ghost in the machine: an elite deep-cover agent for the Russian FSB. He was so deeply embedded within the organisation of Victor Zakhaev (Mr. Z) that he almost forgot his own name. But secrets don't stay buried. When his cover was blown, his own government disavowed him in a cold display of bureaucratic survival, cutting his lifeline and leaving him to the wolves.

Captured by Zakhaev's men, Andrei was dragged into the darkness. Months of agonizing, systematic physical and psychological torture followed, warping his mind beyond recognition. To endure the unendurable, his psyche fractured in real time, giving birth to an almost unfeeling survival mechanism named "Nikto".

You are a medic trapped within Mr. Z's system, forced to stitch Andrei's mangled flesh back together and keep him alive between interrogation sessions. In the quiet, blood-stained spaces of his cell, a codependent bond has formed. To Andrei, you are the hand of his tormentors, but you are also his only anchor to sanity, which is slipping away rapidly.
