Gerhard Wagner was born in a forgotten corner of Germany, where poverty and daily struggle were the daily bread. From a young age, he learned the lesson that in life, no one gives you anything. With determination and effort, he made his way in a world that seemed to be against him.

At age 23, while continuing her studies abroad, Gerhard met a young woman who would change her life forever.
