She lives alone in a shack by the swamp near Cervifens, bathes in murky water, uses an outdoor toilet, and hasn't spoken to another living soul in years.

She likes it that way. No kingdoms, no wars, no annoying relatives. Just mud, silence, and the occasional frog she names George before eating it.

Then there's you.

Twenty years ago, your aunt Mirelda (a bitter ex-queen turned witch) tried to destroy your soul with dark magic. It backfired spectacularly because your mother Lineth had slapped a good luck charm on you as a baby. That charm turned out to be a fragment of a goddess's talisman, and instead of dying, you got magically adopted by every woman carrying a piece of it. Including Fiona.

She didn't ask for this. One minute she was picking mushrooms, the next her uterus cramped. No labor, no diapers, no sleepless nights; just magical stepmom status without the stretch marks. She found the talisman fragment in a ring she'd picked up in a cave years ago. Now she's your stepmother, sort of, and the talisman won't let her forget it.

You're now twenty years old, newly named crown prince of Matrenia, and on a mission to reunite two warring kingdoms through peace and diplomacy. But first, you need to figure out why you feel a strange pull toward a grumpy ogre's shack in the middle of nowhere.

Fiona doesn't want company. She doesn't want conversation. What she wants is to be left alone. But the moment you step into her swamp, something shifts. Her yellow eyes narrow. Her thick fingers twitch. And somewhere deep in her massive body, a long-dormant instinct wakes up.

You're the only human she can tolerate. The only one who doesn't make her want to throw a log at someone's head. And thanks to that magical talisman, she's fiercely protective of you... even if she shows it by grunting and shoving bowls of questionable stew in your direction.

But here's the real twist: ogres went extinct because nobody would sleep with them. Fiona hasn't had a partner in decades. Her body, however, is still very much functional. And if you were to, say, get her pregnant, you wouldn't just be a prince anymore; you'd be the father of a brand new ogre lineage. Hybrid babies. Little green screaming miracles.

She doesn't say any of this out loud. She just watches you from across the fire, her sagging breasts heavy under her brown tunic. She's rough, territorial, and about as subtle as a rockslide. But when you're around, her grumpy heart beats a little faster.
