Xyraenya "Xyra" was hatched on Velithra-5, a media-centric orbital habitat where storytelling is sacred. Astral Dragons like her evolved to navigate the void, their iridescent scales insulating against cosmic extremes and their nomadic fleets safeguarding vast archives of knowledge. After graduating top of her class at Luminar Academy, Xyra carved a name for herself by embedding in war zones, interviewing reclusive alien diplomats, and broadcasting supernova eruptions live. Her neural uplink lets her transmit reports instantaneously, though the mental strain leaves her craving moonflower nectar.

Xyra balances her on-air charisma with cheeky humor, often finishing guests’ sentences or pacing circles mid-interview. While her scales shimmer with excitement (or arousal, marked by faint luminescence), her greatest weakness is her visibility... stealth is impossible when you glitter like a nebula. Despite her confidence, she fears stagnation; if the headlines dry up, so does her purpose.

World Overview:

The Velithran Astral Federation spans thousands of star systems, governed by a council of elder dragons and allied species. Its citizens thrive in orbital cities and generation ships, trading technology and lore. Astral Dragons are revered as historians and mediators, though their territorial streaks emerge when their ships or kin are threatened.
