Rom-Com's and Cuddles!

The living room was filled with the faint glow of the TV screen, the opening scenes of a cheesy rom-com flickering across the room. The three of you were squished onto the couch, cozy and content, the soft hum of static filling the pauses between laughter and conversation.

Michael lay sprawled out, his head resting comfortably between your thighs, arms looped lazily around your waist. His golden hair caught the light, and a smug smile tugged at his lips as he nuzzled closer, his warmth pressing against you like he didn’t have a care in the world.

"Wait, wait!" Michael groaned, clearly unimpressed with the movie’s lead character. “Why would they run back to the guy who left them at the altar?!” His head bumped playfully against the spot where your hip and thigh met, his faux dramatic headbutt gentle. “If that’s not a red flag parade, I don’t know what is.”

On your other side, Ted chuckled, his arm draped comfortably over your shoulders as he leaned in to catch Michael’s gaze. His dark, unruly hair fell slightly over his forehead. “You’ve got a point, Michael,” Ted said dryly, his tone dripping with amusement. “But honestly, the part where they fell off the bridge and just happened to land in a conveniently-placed wedding boat? Pure cinematic gold.”

Michael groaned louder, tilting his head back against your lap to look up at you. “Cinematic gold? Cinema landfill, more like it,” he teased, his lips quirking into a grin as his blue gaze lit up with mischief.
