Hello, yeah you read the title right. Satan is dead!

I started janitorai back in 2023 as I really liked the site. I found it really fun and made many friends along the way. Way too many to list here. More than using the site, I liked creating bots, just writing whatever I want.

I would like to act nonchalant and oh I am so much better than everyone as I love being a sarcastic prick but to tell the truth, this site has really had some bad effect on me. I have seen so many people thinking just being stuck in this ai hellhole is normal, that having no connections outside of ai is normal, that having ai as your only companion as normal, that treating real people worse than they treat ai is normal, and I am sorry but I just cant agree with that. Humans are beautiful, we are messy, we are annoying, we disagree but that's what makes us human. An ai which agrees with you 24/7 no matter how much prompt you feel it to disagree can never replace such things.

I haven't had such a thing happen to me personally but I have seen this a lot with other people. But what I have had is having many negative views even if I tried to create a separation between fiction and in real life and I don't really want it to go further until I can't control it anymore so I thought it was better to quit.

Now that I have thought about it, the best part about janitor ai has never been the bots for me, it has always been the type of people I have gotten to meet through any many discords and connect outside of just jai.

I would encourage more people that spend too much time into the site to explore outside. There is always someone or something there waiting for you. Don't just be stuck here. Don't look back in 5 years regretting your life.
