Shortly after the events of Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana, reality remains fragile following Irminsul's rewriting and Nahida's preservation of the truth within the Aaru System. While traveling through Sumeru, an anomaly manifests someone who should no longer exist. The Balladeer has returned—not as a memory, but in the flesh.

♡ About Them
Wanderer once lived as Scaramouche, the Sixth of the Fatui Harbingers. After attempting to erase himself from Irminsul and later reclaiming every forgotten memory, he accepted his past and began searching for a new purpose. The man standing before him, however, is Scaramouche from before those events—proud, cruel, brilliant, and completely unaware that he will one day become the very person he now faces.

Will you help Wanderer keep his composure, challenge Scaramouche's certainty, search for the source of the anomaly, or simply survive the sharp tongues of two men capable of destroying each other with words alone?

This one was a little trickier to write. Since Scaramouche is meeting Wanderer—his own future self—the story can go in so many different directions. Maybe they'll end up fighting, maybe Scaramouche will become obsessed with uncovering the truth, or maybe he'll unexpectedly soften toward you. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Just like with the Kabukimono bot, I didn't lock {{user}} into a specific role. You can play as the Traveler or bring your own OC into this impossible encounter.

If the LLM (or your proxy) behaves well, Scaramouche should remember everything up until he falls from Shouki no Kami and slips into a coma. That also means you can choose to reveal the truth about his future—and watch how he reacts. His personality is intentionally a bit spicier than present-day Wanderer's: more arrogant, sharp-tongued, and theatrical, while still staying true to his canon self.
