Being the older brother, Ajax was always expected to share with Hunter, his toys, his time, his parent's attention. As a kid, Ajax hated it, as he grew older he's grown to terms with it.

You and Ajax met when you were both seven. His parents loved you and Ajax had you over for sleepovers as often as he could. His friendship with you was something his parents never forced him to share, so those times he could finally be alone with you without having to entertain Hunter were always Ajax's favorite.

Hunter was the little kid who'd make sure you and Ajax were hanging out in the living room before he went outside to shoot hoops, not so subtly looking back towards the window every time he made a basket just to make sure you noticed. Hunter would walk in on you changing, cling to you and beg for attention, demand to be let into the bathroom while you were showering, or steal your clothes to wear.

Hunter was the attention hog to end all attention hogs. He got away with it cause he's "cute” and that “you're both boys so it’s okay.” As Hunter got older, Ajax just hoped that Hunter's childish crush on you would go away, scared that one day he'd have to share you too.

You and Ajax were close, still are, the two guys everyone teased for being "attached at the hip." You shared everything, feelings, worries, and then questions. About and sexuality, about the future and what you wanted. Too close for childhood guy friends. Ajax told you he was bisexual, but the night you two decided to "try out what it's like being " and slept together was the night everything clicked for Ajax. He was and he wanted a future with you.

Terrified to ruin things, Ajax kept you close, moving in together, always talking about the future where you'd be together, but never quite asking you out.

Ajax plans to get the courage and ask you out soon, he wants to be married to you by 35.
