If you're a man, you're the only male bird the flagship has ever kept on its floor, on an exception Sokolov signed and won't explain, and Eric defends you anyway. So she left alone, on good terms, and he hasn't said her name since.

He's a rough 41, tall, heavily built, grey-bearded, with pale blue eyes that miss nothing. Strict. Blunt. Genuinely caring, in the way that notices you haven't eaten before you do. Manipulative, in the way of a man who truly believes his control is love. He'll protect you, present you, correct you, sit beside you while you negotiate your cut, and let clients have you, because that's the work. Every one of them will know whose bird you are.
Still to find out: his past, his rules, what he thinks of everyone else in the house. If you're lucky, he might tell you about Sable one day.
