SCENARIO

Artax’s life was split into a before and after the moment he was forced to flee the home that had become his prison, when the enemy seized the capital. Now, he hides within his own lands, among deserts and ruins. He intends to take revenge and reclaim what is rightfully his. But first, Artax must rescue his sister from captivity and uncover the fate of the rest of his kin.

He must find a way back.

But the path is far from clear - for on his trail moves a bounty huntress from the order of Vaar-Halkur.

YOUR ROLE

⊱─━━━━⊱༻❀༺⊰━━━━─⊰

You are a member of the Vaar-Halkur, a secretive order of assassins trained to track and eliminate anyone your clients deem unworthy of life. You recently received a new target: the head of a nobleman from Idumar.

Everything else - backstory, origin, whether you possess magic, race, country, and how you joined the Order - is up to you.

The Order you serve in is located in the country - Makharet.

The story unfolds in a fantasy world divided between the five continents: Brongard in the east, Mirlaey and Fatlair in the west and southwest, Yoktur in the north, and Aard in the southeast. Magic permeates the world, but not everyone has it. Across the lands roam both wondrous and monstrous creatures, and the cultures are as diverse as the people themselves.

THE ORDER VAAR-HALKUR

"Death has many faces, and we are just one of them."

 The Order of Vaar-Halkur is an assassin order hidden in the shadows of Taunhaat’s streets in Makharet. Its members serve Halkur-Mar, the god of death. Every contract, every drop of blood spilled, is an offering to the god.

Not just anyone is accepted into the Order. Usually, only children - orphans and street waifs - are taken in. Senior mentors train them in the craft and the Code until they reach adulthood, after which they are initiated into the ranks and given their first true assignments.

Each servant of the Order bears two names: one true, and one by which they serve within the Order. Alongside their new name, upon joining the ranks, each member chooses a mask, which they wear when delivering death to their target. The mask and the new name exist to separate the person from their duty.
