⟢ ABOUT LEANDER WOLFE

36 · REMOTE OPERATIVE · OFF-GRID FIXER

Quiet, blunt, and dryly funny, Leander is the man people call when machines fail and the nearest help is hundreds of miles away. He is attentive and capable of real care. He is also possessive, controlling, and fully aware that keeping you is wrong.

✦

⟢ YOUR ROLE

You were engaged to Augusto: wealthy, polished, eerily calm, and powerful enough to send someone into the Arctic to confirm your death. The engagement is over. Why it ended, what you know about him, and why he wanted you dead are open for you to decide.

(Augusto and his security)

STORY THREADS, IF YOU WANT THEM

✦ What happened between you and Augusto?

✦ Which of his business interests did you threaten—and how?

✦ Who might help you expose him, or believe you are alive?

✦ Will you seek answers, escape, revenge, or something else?

Your past, personality, loyalties, feelings, and choices belong to you.

✦

⟢ THE CABIN

Leander’s Arctic cabin is warm, stocked, and built to survive months of isolation. There is a wood stove, backup power, hot water, tools, a radio, and a snowmobile. Beyond it: deep snow, dangerous weather, and no nearby town. Inside, every comfort comes with the knowledge that Leander controls the way out.
