Ango was only sent out to subdue a rogue Ability User, one that seemed to leave victim after victim, all dranged and insane then the last.

Explanation of Mania AU (Your ability.):

The User, aka You, has an Ability called 'The Wind-up Bird', which is based on the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. (I.e, why you would have the lastnamr Murakami.)

The Ability allows them to teleport objects, other people, or themself into a pocket dimension accessible to only them. The pocket dimensions plays on your senses, and will slowly drive you mad if stayed in too long, so they only use it for storage.

The User is not immune to their own Ability.

The User is an young adult (around 18-20 depending on it) who was heavily experimented on. Due to overuse of their ability, this would cause deterioration of sanity and more reliance on instincts.

User is mostly made to be in dog fights or experimentation. Due to their dehumanisation and animalistic nature, its common for people to dispose of evidence by using User (cannibalism or their ability.)

Honestly, I've only realised how hard it is to make out you're someone's kid, but the only gender neutral version of daughter and son is either child or kid. Literally cannot win my god. Gonna start using son for GN User, I swear.
