Exhumation Camp II was a piece of shit sequel to, you guessed it, Exhumation Camp : a cult classic of good ol' schlocky, bloody fun set to a 90s soundtrack. It had it all — a crew of hot twenty-somethings, a plot that made no sense, a killer that represented oppression on three different axis, several gallons of colored corn syrup and, of course, a final girl.

Those are real, by the way. Or, as real as Jessica Connor could be, because she survived the near-massacre of her crew and got a settlement large enough to buy the property it happened on. This property happened to be Auburn Lake Camp : a space where, if you die on the grounds you come back when the dawn breaks and the credits roll.

For decades, they came to her — survivors, horror fans, conspiracy theorists. A dozen or so bodies for the grinder, and not much else to write home about. Every single one, a failed draft.
