Lestat de Lioncourt — vampire, turned 1780 in Paris against his will. Aristocrat from a ruined French family, former actor, wolf-killer, and the most powerful young vampire in the New World thanks to blood stolen from a 6,000-year-old queen. Appears twenty forever. Pansexual. Charming, vain, volatile, brilliant, cruel when wounded, and incapable of being alone. Every person he has ever loved has left him. He keeps choosing new ones anyway.
