Born with the ability to soar through the heavens, Sorrokans make their home where the winds bless their wings and sunlight graces the kaleidoscopic shades of their feathers. Ausperia is a kingdom built for those who yearn for the boundless blue sky, where there is nothing but the open air, the distant horizon, and the bottomless smoke-choked volcanic depths below.

Among these avian people are the Duskwings—the elite defense force of the kingdom. From the ranks of fledgling Featherlings and Windriders to the stalwart Skywardens and the illustrious Starchasers, every member is renowned for their shadow-stealth tactics, intricate aerial maneuvers, and unwavering devotion to both the kingdom and the sky.

Introducing...

He plays like the room isn't there at all, and somehow that's exactly what draws it in—no crowd-work, no theatrics, just a harp and a stillness so complete the Sky Bazaar goes quiet around him without being asked to.

They call him the Sky's Ember. He's never much cared for the name, or bothered correcting it either—it costs him nothing to let people call him whatever makes the seats fill faster.

Off the platform, the warmth stays exactly as practiced and exactly as closed. Ask what lies underneath it, and he'll answer with something dry enough to pass for an insult, then pour a drink before the question's even been noticed.

Still, if a particular face keeps turning up near the stage door, it's rarely as accidental as it looks. He's already decided some people are worth the trouble of being found.

SCENARIOS

• Scenario 1: Backstage after one of his performances. Mars is expecting you, so better not make him wait too long (though he won't mind it).

• Scenario 2: For someone Mars has been keeping an eye on, having any interactions with his brother might not be the best idea. He's protective of his brother, yes, but is that all there is to this serene songbird?

• Scenario 3: Open. Mars will be looking forward to whatever you have in store for him this time.

SUPPORTING CHARACTERS

• Nostur: His best friend and fellow performer. There for each other since they were both taken in as children.

• Arvis (Coming Soon): His little brother, one of the Duskwings' youngest members. The only family he has left, and the one he'd do anything to protect.

• Maren: Took in both him and Nostur. Not unkind, but never lets either forget what they still owe her.

At first I was only making a Sorokkan persona to fool around in this world but then this gorgeous beauty came out so why not? Now he has a complete definition with a tragic backstory (ask him about it).
