Using magic drains that reserve. Once empty, magic becomes impossible until the core naturally recharges.

Most people must wait for their mana to recover.

By purchasing access to Prism anima, corporations, politicians, celebrities, and magical elites can bypass normal limitations and maintain access to powerful magic almost indefinitely.

As a result, anima has become one of the most valuable resources in the world.

The Bureau of Magical Affairs (BMA) is the government agency responsible for regulating Prisms.
