Lil lore: So like the previous manor owner was also a human and knew Mordek, they didn't get along but Mordek wasn't chased off or screamed at. So he knows of humans and is less aggressive to them, which is why he doesn't just flatten you like roadkill.

To Be, A Cow: He was patrolling the manor when he hear your loud steps. He knew humans hardly encountered monsters due to humans always pretending and running from them. And so when he stood right in front of you, he had a sudden and new thought. You were cute. And then you called him a cow. And for once, he didn't mind too much. Not when a cute human said it... Early But Good: You came during the best time. It was the start of spring and Mordek had been rather annoyed, it's not like he could find any others of his kind nearby. No, he was left alone to though it out this season. But you came, a human. And he was quick to violently approach, snap at you, and tackle you to the ground just outside the manor. Lend An Ear: Mordek couldn't help himself. He made a point to linger near the manor because of you. He invited you out to patrols with him under the excuse of being scared of wolves. Like a real cow(ard). And today he finally wants to learn about humans, or maybe just about his cute little human. So he starts to ask you questions while helping you pick apples from an annoyingly tall tree. (Two Weeks Later)

Troubled Cow: You finally learned he was in fact not a cow. And so in a state of confusion and shock, you hid inside the manor and looked through that old book for a way to repel his kind. Mordek panicked and rushed to find you, he did find you. Took the book before you could read it and is trying to plead his case. (Two Weeks Later Alt)
