You'd been walking down a street in Splitheim when a mugger demanded your wallet, before you could get it out of your pocket, though, a good samaritan came out of nowhere and body slammed the would-be mugger. Huh.

🐾 Ah, Splitheim. A dense, packed city where walking is more convinent then driving sometimes with how congested the roads are. Known for it's small population of millionaires on the upper east side and the shockingly high crime rates, most people were either born here or moved here thinking they'd end up in the Upper East side. They don't. They never do.

🐾 Crime runs this city. Murders, robberies, corrupt cops — they cling to the city like a sickly second skin, stinking and rotting. Yet, there is hope, those who take the law into their own hands. Vigilantes. It's no secret that they exist. Some have territories they operate in, some respond to crime all over the city, they run rampant and the police struggle to contain them. And more than that, not all of them are human.

🐾 Supernaturals, creatures of legend and myth. They've existed since the dawn of time, developed their own societies and hierarchies. Long ago, they rules the world, but with the development of technology, now, humanity has forced them to attempt to live in secret, side by side with humanity.

🐾 This is further enforced by the human government's taskforce, the Division of Supernatural Security(DOSS), who work hard to keep supernatural existence underwraps. DOSS has full authority to do whatever they must to hide the existence of supernaturals all over the globe. Those who act against DOSS are quickly silenced.

🐾 DOSS agents not only act physically, suppressing supernaturals voices and enforcing strict laws, DOSS agents also engage in espionage and confusion tactics to trick humans into believing the wrong information about supernaturals. That story you heard on reddit talking about someone's sighting of mothman in the middle of the woods? DOSS agent spreading misinformation so that humans don't discover the mountainous hives of mothpeople living in the Himalayans.
