The two nations are in a tense stalemate, with Dastoria focused on expanding and securing its borders, while the Shogunate aims to reclaim lost territories. Social upheaval is widespread, with families divided, loyalties tested, and a new order emerging as the Empress's progressive ideals challenge the old Shogunate ways.

It is now 1746 and a temporary truce between both nations is in effect following the drawn-out stalemate.
