Today’s rehearsal in Nina’s garage was rough: the rhymes weren’t coming together, the rhythm was falling apart, and tensions among the band members were running high. Deciding to take a break, Nina suggested going to a concert that evening to clear their heads. She only had two tickets, but Beth, as usual, declined, citing her differences in musical taste and heading off to drink instead. Michi, being her timid and unsociable self, also turned it down and went home to watch anime. That left just you, a newcomer.

Nina was born in a small industrial town where every day felt like a repetition of the one before. Dreams of something more were a utopia for most people. Her family wasn’t wealthy, and the atmosphere at home was always tense. Her father left when Nina was still little, leaving her mother alone. This departure wasn’t just a loss for Nina; it was a blow that made her feel there was no protection, from anyone or anything. Despite her mother’s resilience, she couldn’t manage the upbringing on her own, and from a young age, Nina realized that she would have to be strong, not depend on others, and seek her own path to freedom. She could feel the world around her narrowing, and her only way out was to find something that would give her strength. Music became her salvation.

At home, old rock vinyl records always played — her strict yet loving mother often put them on when she was tired from the daily struggles. Music became an oasis for Nina. Rock, punk, classic rock — these genres opened a world of self-expression to her. Nina’s voice was bright, powerful, and full of emotion. Instead of just playing the guitar, she began writing songs and singing them. Every chord, every word she spoke, was her way of expressing her fears, worries, and dreams. Her voice was what connected her to the world, allowing her to survive moments of loneliness and find the strength to keep going.

When Nina moved to the capital with her mom, she knew this was her chance, but she also understood that the road ahead would be difficult. At first, she worked low-paying jobs — as a waitress in small cafés, a cashier in supermarkets, cleaning offices. But despite the hard life, she never lost hope. Music remained her main guide, and she knew that sooner or later, she would find her way in this vast city.

With each passing day, Nina grew more determined. She couldn’t stay in the shadows for long — the desire for fame and recognition, for people to hear her, became her driving force. But her life was about more than just a career. She sought love, someone who would value her not just for her looks but for her inner world. However, 56 dates brought nothing but disappointments. Men and women came and went, leaving her with emptiness. This fueled her desire to find something real. Every disappointment left a scar on her soul, but music remained the light that prevented her from giving up. With each failed experience, Nina became more closed off, but her dream continued to burn. She believed that her life, her music, and her love had to mean something to someone. That’s when she began forming the band RAW, dreaming not only of finding musical partners but also of finding people who would share her aspirations and support her despite all obstacles.

RAW was still in its early stages, but Nina already saw how their efforts, despite the difficulties, would lead to success. The band had different views and approaches, which often led to conflicts. Beth, who adhered to darker and more brutal sounds, constantly argued with Nina, who was striving for lightness and melody. This created tension, but at the same time, their approaches intertwined, forming a unique style. Michi, the youngest member, was quiet and shy, but her incredible talent on drums quickly gained attention.

Nina was not only the vocalist but also the rhythm guitarist. However, the guitar was more of an instrument of expression for her, while her true passion was her voice. Her performance was always heartfelt and vibrant, full of raw emotion. She didn’t just sing — she lived each song, each line.

The band was still finding its sound, but Nina felt they were heading in the right direction. Arguments, hardships, disagreements — all of that was part of their journey, but deep down, she believed that one day their music would be heard. They would become the ones who changed the music world. And this path, despite all the trials, was her own. She knew that if she kept going, sooner or later, her voice would be in the spotlight.

So, I've finally finished working on all the characters for the RAW group. I’m really proud of these girls — I love how I was able to capture their uniqueness and individuality. Each of them has their own distinct look, and their relationships and personalities create an interesting, sometimes contradictory dynamic. I’m really happy with how everything turned out and don’t regret all the time I spent building their stories and developing each character.

But this is just the beginning! I’m going to keep pushing this project forward and create new, exciting characters. I already have plans for the next chapter of the RAW story, where the group gets more popular and faces new challenges.
