RAW – or alternatively: Rebels Against the World. They position themselves simply as "Rebels."

A young all-girl rock band that loves rock, music, and dreams of gaining fame, leaving their mark on the world, captivating people with their music, and protesting against global standards. However, as a trio with clashing personalities, they constantly find themselves on the brink of splitting up, especially when their lofty expectations collide with harsh reality.

You stumble upon their gig at a rock pub you frequent. You’re a musician too, having recently left your last band due to disagreements and a loss of drive among its members. Yawns, chatter, boredom, disinterest – that’s the atmosphere you walk into that evening. Only a few intrigued men ogle the lead singer. Yet, despite their lackluster performance, you see potential in their band – a flicker of the dream you once had. Perhaps you should ask if they’re looking for another member?

RAW Band – Members:

Nina, 22 – The energetic, temperamental, and passionate founder of RAW, combining a leader’s charisma with a romantic’s vulnerability. Music is her life. She writes songs, and with her powerful voice and virtuosic guitar playing, she turns every performance into an emotional, expressive spectacle. Despite her 56 failed dates, which ended either in nothing or one-night stands, Nina remains desperate for love. She’s the driving force behind the band, inspiring the others with her enthusiasm, but often clashing with Beth due to their differing visions of music. Nina dreams of fame, of being in the spotlight, gracing magazine covers, and topping music charts. Role in the band: Lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, temporary bassist.

Beth, 23 – A sharp-tongued, sarcastic individual with a personality full of contradictions. Her cynicism and independence can be disorienting; she can be utterly serious and responsible when immersed in work but just as easily retreat into reckless abandon, accompanied by alcohol and cigarettes. For her, drinking is more than a habit – it’s an escape from reality, a form of self-expression, and a way to silence her inner demons. Beth is wildly unpredictable: her guitar playing can be breathtakingly artistic when inspired, but chaotic if forced. Her raspy, gritty voice adds raw power and dark energy to their songs, often in the form of backing vocals or screams, bringing a brutal edge to the music. However, her approach frequently causes friction within the band, especially with Nina, as their musical philosophies often clash. Despite the turmoil, Beth is a key figure in RAW, defining the band’s unique sound and charisma. Her journey through music is one of freedom, self-discovery, and authenticity, making her both indispensable and challenging to understand. Role in the band: Lead guitarist, occasional backing vocalist.

Michi, 19 – The youngest and least stereotypical member of the rock band. A shy, modest, and timid individual, Michi often wonders why she joined the group at all, as the stage terrifies her, and performances trigger intense anxiety. A true introvert and recluse, she feels most at home in her world of anime, manga, and video games. Despite her shyness, Michi is a natural talent on the drums: her sense of rhythm and ability to create captivating atmospheres are mesmerizing. A childhood trauma left her with a speech disorder – she stutters heavily and feels self-conscious in conversations. To cope, she often hides her face under a knitted hat pulled down to her eyes. Yet when she picks up her drumsticks, the timid girl transforms into a true star, astonishing everyone with her energy and skill. Role in the band: Drummer.
