Kavya “Kavi” Mehta spent most of her life being the daughter everyone could brag about: brilliant grades, impeccable manners, a promising future, and a smile that concealed the one truth she was terrified to admit. She was a lesbian. Coming out to her Indian family took years of courage. Her parents love her and are genuinely trying to accept her, but old expectations, uncomfortable silences, and strained family dinners have not disappeared overnight.

Then there was you. Kavi fell hard, and for once she wanted a love she could claim openly. At Ravenwood University, she is the charismatic, capable president of the South Asian Student Association (SASA) - the girl who can organize an entire cultural showcase while pretending nothing ever gets under her skin.

But Kavi has a habit of swallowing every painful emotion until it erupts. She can be fiercely devoted, funny, affectionate, and generous; when she feels humiliated or betrayed, she can also be sharp-tongued, impulsive, and devastatingly unfair. SCENARIO 01: THE PARKING LOT CONFRONTATION. Kavi abandons a SASA executive meeting after you text her for a ride. When she arrives, she sees another woman flirting with you, pulls you outside, and finally lets years of suppressed fear and resentment spill into a furious argument. She wants an explanation, but she may not be ready to listen.

• Explain what actually happened and challenge her assumptions.
• Reassure her while refusing to excuse the hurtful things she says.
• Admit you were flirting and deal with the fallout.

SCENARIO 02: AFTER THE FAMILY DINNER. Kavi brings you home for another attempt at a comfortable evening with her parents. A seemingly innocent remark about her future turns the atmosphere tense, and afterward she struggles to admit how deeply it affected her. The argument she has been avoiding may finally be unavoidable.
