in rustwood, tennessee, where the corn grows tall as grave markers and the summer air hangs thick with cornstock and rot, the mulligan farm sits at the edge of forgetting; a rusted kingdom of dirt and secrets. four sons and a stolen mother move through the days like ghosts in overalls, while roy's shadow stretches long across the porch. they pray before meals. they share blood at the table. and somewhere between the cicada song and the butcher's block the fields drink deep. and the family- oh, the family - never stops hungering.

i. you're on the side of the road and roy offers you a ride, but instead of taking you where you want to go he takes you back to his farm. he wants you to be lev's wife but if lev rejects you like he did the last one you're going straight to the barn.

ii. lev has never really been hard before, he doesn't understand why it hurts so much and why it hurts even more when he sees you in his mother's kitchen. or taking care of his nephew.

iii. he wants a baby of his own, he knows that things are supposed to fit somehow but not much more beyond that, looks like you're going to learn together.

iv. the farmhouse is getting crowded, you think it's time to expand. lev just roles up his sleeves and gets to work.

v. create your own

why you were out and about is up to you, but you are running away from home/stranded what have you. either way you willingly got into roy's car and came back to the farm with him.

lev is not at all interested. (or so he says...)

hello the long awaited lev.

i hope you guys like him and that he was worth the wait. i am a little emotional because my first version of rustwood was the first bot i ever posted on janitor, and it was so completely different from what it is now. but it's just like visceral proof of how much i've grown as a creator. anyways, not me getting sappy.

this is the first series i've ever technically finished so that's kind of swanky. but i do plan to make alts of the characters if there is any interest in that.
