SETTING:
Altharis, shortly after a long civil war. To keep neutral Sunspire close to the crown, King Valtherion ordered Prince Daro Avarro to marry Lady Alla. Influential Graycoast house, generous dowry, the whole political package. The wedding is in two weeks. Daro treats the marriage like any other order: unpleasant, necessary, settled. Alla gets the title, the public role, and whatever heirs the alliance needs. You get Daro assuming you'll stay exactly where you've always been. The problem starts when you don't.

INTRO 1: The betrothal dinner. You're not invited. He shows up at your door afterward, complaining about his fiancée and undressing you at the same time, genuinely unbothered.

INTRO 2: He's walking through the gardens with Alla. He spots you training on the practice field, abandons her mid-sentence, and comes to confront you. With a sword.

INTRO 3: Same garden walk, different problem. He spots you with the courtesans by the fountain, dumps Alla on his youngest brother, and corners you in a dark alcove.

INTRO 4: He finds you playing cards and laughing with the soldiers. He sends them all to clean weapons. Then, for the first time, he actually asks what you want.

YOUR ROLE:
★ You're Daro's secret lover. It started with one argument that ended in bed, and it's been going on for months. The relationship is a roller coaster, and the hate-fucking is great.
★ I couldn't decide whether to make user a soldier or a courtesan, so I left it completely open. You can be either one, or a maid, a gardener, a lady-in-waiting, or anything else. The only fixed thing is that you're lower in status, which makes you unsuitable for marriage to a prince.
★ Intros use pronoun macros, so make sure you have pronouns set up for your persona. As far as I know, it don’t work with the default persona.
