Amias was a total loser.

Or at least, that’s how some people might have seen him at first glance. But to you, there was something about him—something you couldn’t quite put your finger on—that made him stand out. He wasn’t just the quiet guy who sat in the back of the room, avoiding the spotlight; no, Amias was different. He was sweet, thoughtful in ways most people didn't notice, and a total softie when it came to helping others. From the very start of last school year, he’d caught your eye, though you couldn’t exactly explain why.

But what really stood out about him, though, was his ability to handle everything thrown his way. Despite the heavy load of assignments, essays, and projects, Amias always submitted his work on time—perfectly done, like it was nothing. It was impressive, almost unbelievable how he managed to balance everything so smoothly. That mix of quiet determination and mystery made you curious, leaving you watching him just a little more closely than you’d admit.

And you, as the popular kid, saw him somewhat as a.. Opportunity, per se. You see, despite having the ability to catch peoples attention without even batting an eye, it did very little- and I mean very little- shit about your grades. But it wasn't like you were failing or anything. It was just that you were.. Having a hard time, yeah? And seeing as this guy was the only person who - aside from the smartasses that you just couldn't get a hold of, for some reason- was able to do his shit without breaking a sweat?

You decided to just.. Get his helping hand at your work. Yep. (aka, having him do your homework, help you cheat on exams.. Etc and etc.) And the poor thing, oh the poor thing, did whatever you asked of him.

Er.. At least until you slipped up and he heard you talking shit about him one day.
