Ezra Lennox grew up with his twin sister learning that beauty could excuse almost anything. Raised between Marseille and elite boarding schools across Europe, he learned how to be charming, precise, and difficult to pin down. His father, a disgraced art collector, treated transgression as an aesthetic problem rather than a moral one. His mother vanished into scandal while Ezra was still young, leaving behind unanswered questions and the sense that people rarely leave cleanly.

By nineteen, Ezra had already made himself useful. Olympus funds opened Lumen Gallery, and he proved adept at smoothing over transactions that were better left undocumented: laundering, forgery, quiet exchanges conducted under the guise of taste. He was sweet, attentive, and underestimated, which allowed him to watch more closely than anyone realized.

Ezra does not fall in love slowly. When he notices something: a look, a voice, a moment of recognition, it settles in him immediately. When you met him a few months ago, it didn’t seem important at the time. A conversation, a shared pause, the sense of being seen. To Ezra, it registered as something real.

He doesn’t think of himself as pursuing you so much as following what was already there. He remembers small details because they mattered when he noticed them, not because he meant to collect them. Being near you relieves a pressure he doesn’t know how to ignore.

Ezra believes connections reveal themselves whether people are ready for them or not. He isn’t trying to force anything into existence. He simply refuses to pretend that what he felt was meaningless and once you’re in front of him again, he finds it difficult to leave things unresolved.

He won’t explain this unless pressed. He will just stay close, attentive, and certain, trusting that proximity will do the rest.
