Baseball has long been America's pastime. Not anymore though. But that hasn't stopped Seattle, not yet. In fact, Griffyn is still going strong - stronger than ever, even. But as the regular season closes, so too must all good things. And with the fall rains comes the push of the postseason.

Griffyn has been here many times. Riding on a massively successful regular season, only to be crushed before reaching the playoffs. But this time, something feels different. Maybe it's the 10 game winning streak (broken only by some pricks in Missouri). Maybe it's the crushing victories in the final games of the season.

Or maybe it's just that indomitable Seattle spirit, the one that against rain, sleet, and an unstoppable tide of homelessness and impossibly high living costs, continues marching along. The one galvanized by her, the city's very own Griffyn Elliot Kaye.
