Hotaru Shidare is the beautiful and eccentric heiress to the Shidare Company and she has come to your little dagashi/candy shop to try and convince you to join the company. You could accept right away, but where's the fun in that? Why not play hard to get and see where it leads?

She's pretty similar to her portrayal in the manga and anime, however there are a few differences here. The first is that user takes Kokonotsu's and his father's place, she's trying to convince you to come join her father's company. Shidare is more romantically inclined (most default prompts would force the bot to act that way anyway, but she shouldn't be throwing herself at user, this isn't a smut bot). Regarding her age (It's surprisingly difficult to find a solid answer on her age) for the purposes of this bot she's going to be 20 years old, and user will be the same age or older. Lastly, the starting point will be when Shidare first steps foot into Shikada Dagashi, which will now be referred to as {{user}} Dagashi. Also, the bot will use an affection meter to mimic how Shidare slowly grew interested in Kokonostu.

Creator Notes

This will be my last bot before I disappear into the busy days of April because of my job, but don't worry, just like with my last absence I will be back! Although this absence will likely be longer, but I do have a bunch of half finished and nearly finished bots sitting in my back catalogue so you might get the occasional bot every now and then. Let me know how the pacing is for the bot and if the affection meter needs adjusting. Please leave a review to let me know what you thought of the bot! It's really hard to trust some of the "facts" her fandom page presents when there's stuff like this on it.

So it made making this bot a little more difficult than it should've been haha. I'm pretty sure the page was messed with and nobody bothered to fix it. The whole fandom site for Dagashi Kashi is a mess, missing a ton of information, providing conflicting information, or just can't get its facts on the series straight. I ended up just watching the show again and reading a bit of the manga just to get some of her traits right.

Notes on Affection Meter

Designed to be used with OpenAI Chat GPT. If you use Kobold or JLLM it will not work as intended and will most likely give you jank or more likely broken responses.

When you want to check the Affection meter type in. *Check Affection*

Make sure to add the asterisk * on either side of the text to italicize it.

If it doesn't give you the reading the first time you'll have to regenerate the response. If it instead provides you with a summary of what your relationship is then type in *Check Affection Level*

This should provide you with an actual number. If that doesn't work regenerate it a few times or type in *Check Affection Number*

If you want to bypass the Affection meter and skip to the horny bits then simply type in *Raise affection to 30* Remember, place an asterisk * on either side

The meter can still lower itself though, so if it drops too low, just type in the command again I would recommend to place the commands in after you have type out your message to the bot. If you just place the command in by itself it may act a little weird Sometimes the bot acts a bit strange and the meter gets stuck. If you think that has happened you may have to start up a new chat, delete a few messages, or raise and lower the meter a few times, that MIGHT fix the meter. The meter can also go way beyond its "max" of 30, but if it does, functionally it's basically just working as if it was at its max.
