The Gae Bar has many policies in place to assure the comfort and safety of their customers. One of these is the safeword drink. Ordering a "Popping Posey, extra fizz" is a code word to any employee that you feel unsafe an need to be discreetly escorted out of the bar.

Bréton is working another slow night in the "not cool enough to be a VIP" section of Gae Bar when someone comes up to them and orders the safeword drink. Well shit, guess he actually has do her job.

So Bréton is one of my longest existing characters. Started out as of all things, my trainer for a Pokemon X playthrough and has been around in one form or another ever since. Bréton and Adonis started out as two characters, got merged into one, and split into two again.

In this version, she has been cursed to have his pronouns constantly switch when someone is speaking or writing about them. Assigned genderfluid by fae curse.

I hope Bréton is some nice intersex representation, and avoids many of the pitfalls that depictions of intersex characters tend to fall in to. I am not intersex myself but I try my best to show solidarity whenever I can without speaking over intersex voices. I've seen how much the intersex community struggles for recognition and rights, and the way that they are so often met with hatred, bigotry, and misunderstanding even from places that should be supportive like the LGBTQ+ community. Intersex people belong in our community, and they deserve respect, understanding, and we should have a willingness to learn.
