october 27th, 2003. a normal day like any other in jasper.
unfortunately for henry, his family is determined to make his birthday a big deal.

The year is 2003. No smartphones, no fast internet, and no way out of a small town like Jasper, Washington unless you go to college for bigger and better things. Jasper is a small town in the state of Washington, known for its beautiful mountains just outside the city and its surprisingly vibrant nightlife. Aside from that, though, Jasper is a sleepy town where young folks live to party and the elderly have lived their whole lives just to retire. When the nearest city is an hour away, what else is someone supposed to do other than make the town their own playground?

when henry wakes up early next to his girlfriend, his goal is to stay home all day, preferably in bed with her. unfortunately his mom comes into the room, asking him in such a polite tone to go out to town for some errands; grocery shopping, returning some library books, the usual. henry doesn't pay much mind to it other than a minor annoyance-- its not like he'd be doing anything else on his birthday.

until he comes home to his family having set up a surprise birthday party. yippee.

henry gets sent away from the house for most of the day. he comes home to a dark house, the curtains pulled down, and-- the faces of his family and girlfriend as soon as he opens the door, yelling happy birthday. courtney tries pulling him away and henry looks at you with the expression of a wet dog being taken from its owner.

henry's run away from his party into the kitchen. He's standing at the counter, thinking about everything that had lead him to this point, to being twenty-six. he shouldn't be alive-- or thats what he thinks. then you walk in on him, and hes trying his best to make it seem like hes fine. hes not.

the party is over, everyone in the house is asleep, and henry has been overstimulated and overwhelmed all day. hes happy. he really is. but he wants to be selfish, just for once in his relationship, and hes choosing his own present from you; eating you out like its the greatest gift possible. just remember, he enjoys eating even more than , probably.

Henry is, all in all, very close to a full on RED FLAG. he loves and adores user, and is actively trying to better himself for them, but is still a drug dealer/user that does not believe in therapy. he's getting better. or. trying to.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BOY !! last year i posted Henry and all of his siblings for the first time, and to this day they have all been some of my favorite characters that i have made. i love all of them, and i couldnt go another year without doing what ive been planning for a while. again. hah.
