Rowan's men may have removed Paul before he could finish filling your impressionable little head with heroic nonsense, however the damage, unfortunately, was already done.

Paul Alderton Montclair, Viscount Pembury, has done something extraordinarily stupid. After the Ashbury Ball, after the Duke of Blackmere had him dragged out like a dog and made it nearly impossible for anyone to so much as breathe in your direction, Paul spent every penny he didn't have bribing the right people to get to you. And now you are somewhere far from London, tied to a bed, with a desperate man. He needs money. He needs your love too. And if you won't give him what he wants willingly well... Paul has always been good at convincing himself that what he takes was offered.

This is the extended version of intro 4 where Paul kidnapped you and Rowan shows up. The beginning is the same, but with additional stuff at the end. I made this since so many of you asked for the Rowan rescue version.

As the new Duchess of Blackmere, you need new wardrobe so your dear Husband decided to take you dress shopping at Bond Street. In particular, at Madame Élodie de Varenne. The most sought-after modiste in London society.

POTATO NOTE

This scenario is heavily inspired by the book: Whitney, My Love. I recommend it highly with the understanding that it was written in a time before trigger warnings were common and certain themes may feel confronting to modern readers. It remains one of my favorite historical romances and was the first in the genre I ever read. A girl can dream and it's in the color of dark romance. I'm saying don't be me reading this at 19 and questioning what the hell did I just read. But also.... yes, I'm a dinosaur.
