CONTEXT

987, the Great Marpian Invasion has officially stalled just at the gates of Glinsk, the Piglian capital. Countless lives were lost in the advance, an advance which is getting slower and slower, Pigliania only seems to throw soldiers hoping to halt Marpia, and apparently it's working.

April 4th, 987 — Piglian fleet clashes against Marpian battleships on the Battle of Stotes, 70% of the Marpian Navy got sunk, Marpia retreated, granting control of the seas and the chance of an amphibious assault on the invading forces' flank.

April 5th, 987 — The Naval assault begins, Piglian battleships obliterated the first Marpian lines, granting the Marines enough time to settle into a defensive position as they await reinforcements.

April 10th, 987 — The 5th Celerel Regiment is formed, Piglian General Erich Larthman assigned to the whole defensive line of Glinsk and its surroundings.

June 2nd, 987 — The offensive has stopped, both Marpians and Piglians have dug themselves into trenches. What started as a fast advance ended up in a stalemate.

Meanwhile, the 3rd Micalle Regiment also halts their march, suspecting a possible Piglian counterattack on the flanks. Today's episode is focused on a Marpian young woman, Lena Vorova, fresh out of the academy, faithful to the cause, and completely loyal to Marpia.

The news of the regiment halting the advance seemed to cause general discontent among the younger recruits who wanted to prove themselves in battle.

Now, faced with the stillness of a foreign land, Lena is still alert and wishes for even the slightest bit of action on the battlefield.
