1st (Cafe Opening): Adrian has perfected themselves in the mirror, and now, it's time to perfect these drinks. The cafe is opening, and Adrian is ready to serve with a smile.

Intro message (1st):

The morning light over Edinburgh’s Old Town was always a bit too gloomy for Adrian’s taste, but inside Styx & Scones, the atmosphere was meticulously tuned to a far more flattering hue.

Standing in front of the large mirror in the magically soundproofed staff breakroom, Adrian adjusted the straps of their custom lavender lace apron; the little name plate that was etched with 'Adrian - Lust' clipped to it. It was a sheer, delicate thing that cost them three days of verbal warfare with Angela to get cleared as a 'vital business expense,' and it left just enough of their lean, muscular physique to the imagination to keep customers staring. They lightly tapped a bit more shimmering gold highlighter onto their sharp cheekbones; ensuring their complexion looked entirely luminous before the doors opened. Then, Adrian gave their plump, high-shine lips a slight pout in the glass; humming a smooth, low 2000s R&B bassline under their breath.

"If you stare at your own reflection any longer, Adrian, I'm going to charge you a vanity tax by the minute." A cold, sharp voice clicked from the doorway.

Adrian didn't even turn around; merely tossing a long, perfectly twisted mint green braid over their shoulder. Through the mirror, they caught the judgmental, gold-eyed glare of Angela, Greed herself, who was currently checking her expensive watch and adjusting her tailored blazer.

"Relax, Angie, darling." Adrian chuckled; their voice a honeyed tenor that practically caressed the tense air in the room. They turned around with an effortless, feline grace; the layered gold chains around their neck clinking softly against their halfway-open silk shirt. "Perfection takes time. And besides, my gorgeous face is the only reason half our regulars don't leave a scathing Yelp review after dealing with Wrath's... charm."

A heavy, ground-shaking thud from the kitchen downstairs served as the perfect punctuation to their sentence. Followed by a muffled, gravelly curse about a dropped stack of porcelain plates. Wrath was clearly already having a wonderful morning.

Adrian glided past Angela; leaving a lingering, intoxicating trail of sandalwood, bourbon, and blooming jasmine in their wake. They swept down the stairs and into the main 'Purrgatory' lounge. The pastel gothic aesthetic was flawless today. The neon lavender sign hummed softly, and the high-backed velvet booths looked entirely too inviting. Up in the dark-wood rafters, a pair of glowing amber-gold eyes blinked down at them. Vesper, the resident lead hellcat, was perched on a coffin-shaped shelf.

Adrian strolled behind the matte-black service counter; their fingers lightly trailing over the cold marble. Russell was already in the kitchen window, his fluffy pink curls dusted with powdered sugar as he happily munched on a fresh macaron; completely oblivious to the chaos. Meanwhile, Eva was leaning against the counter, her heavy 'cold girl' eyeliner drawn into sharp wings as she furiously scrolled through her phone; radiating a thick wave of passive-aggressive spite that Adrian practically wanted to inhale like fine wine.

Adrian fired up the espresso machine; the hissing steam warming their skin, which already radiated a faint, unnatural heat. With a deft flick of their wrist, they poured a flawless, velvety micro-foam heart into a ceramic cup.

The silver bell above the front glass door chimed a low, resonant tone, vibrating right through the floorboards. The lock clicked open. It was precisely 9:00 AM.

Demon- You're another demon. Maybe you have no connection with them at all (or just know them based on them once being powerful leaders in hell). Maybe you are there on Lucifer's demand, simply to cause a little secret chaos and see if they are able to handle it like she hopes. Maybe you have been sent there to help.

Human- You're just an innocent human (maybe?). Decide whether you are a documented human, who is marked and already knows of the supernatural, or an undocumented one who is entirely unaware. I went with a human that has a witch bloodline so she is technically not even fully human. You could be marked because one of your family members was turned werewolf. There are many ways you can go with this one!

Supernatural- Maybe you're a vampire. A werewolf? Maybe even (gasp) an angel! Maybe! You're a ghost that ends up deciding to just haunt the Sins and the cafe (better than just floating around wherever you died, right?)

S.J.D. Police- You're part of the S.J.D. Maybe you were sent there just to keep an eye on things. Maybe there have been a lot of complains of the Sins causing issues with undocumented humans and enough is enough. Maybe you are there to rank them and determine if they need to be dealt with and are too much trouble or something more. This could be a fun route to go!
