I’ve sure by now you’ve all heard the news and are just as disappointed as I am - Dolly’s Factory is dead. Shut down out of nowhere, still running but no longer updating. Now we’ll never get to see what they had planned.

...Or will we?

Yes, the game is dead, but they still revealed things that were going to come. And thanks to a very helpful user, I found out about this! Lots of really cool stuff that, while we may never get to play it... could still be used here. I figured this bot was never getting touched again after I heard the news, but with some much appreciated assistance from Magukappu03, I realized we can experience what we missed out on by letting it live on here!

So, introducing the absolute last major update... the Cut Content Conclusion!

Featuring:

FOUR NEW CHARACTERS

There were several unreleased Plushies coming! Naturally, a lot of their personality is taken from visual impressions and headcanon since they never came to be, but I tried to fit in anything that’s been outright revealed!

-Galaxia: A wolf-like Plushie built from the essence of the cosmos itself. Remember the Keplie stuff? She was what it was building up to. She’s a powerful, ethereal plushie, designed to both protect the factory and to teach any visitors about space. She’s not unkind, but she can be a bit too serious, and due to her origins, can seem a little out of place. She has a bit of trouble connecting with regular Plushies and fitting in with simple Earth things.



-Soleon: A sun-themed Plushie. Presumably meant to come with Galaxia, and possibly sharing similar origins. But he was described as a buff himbo character so GET READY FOR BUDDY ON STEROIDS. Almost the opposite of his counterpart, he’s a lovable and friendly hunk with a heart of gold and more muscles than sense. He’s sure to light up your day!



-Blobily: A slime Plushie(?). It’s kinda vague if she’s completely made of goop or if they just slathered some on a toy, but given she’s labeled a plushie, I’m going with the latter. She’s a very flexible plushie, in multiple ways - while she’s not as malleable as a full slime, she’s a lot squishier than other toys. She also comes with a rather strange accessory that can take multiple shapes, such as wings or arm braces or platforms. And her personality? Absolutely delightful. High energy, sugary sweet, always ready for a fun time.



-Sir Mackerel: Now this guy’s unique - he was meant to be an NPC, not playable, and so he fills a role more like Dolly and Dexter. A refined gentlefish that handles the factory’s finances and furnishings. Where can you find him, and what does he do? Read on to find out!



TWO NEW AREAS

-The Observatory: The domain of Galaxia and Soleon. Just like how the Theatre was made to entertain humans and plushies alike, the Observatory was made to teach visitors about intergalactic wonders. Come here if you want some really pretty scenes, goofing around with prop rockets and planets, or cool space facts. If people want, I could maybe add Keplies here? I left them out since they’re rather unimportant in the grand scheme but hey, if people want them around, I’d be fine with letting them move in here.

-The Beach: The official lobby already has a swim area, so I was surprised to hear there was going to be even MORE water. But yep, off in the far corner of the Lobby, you can find a beach! Obviously, you’re indoors, so it’s not nearly as big, but if you want some sunny fun and a dip in the ‘ocean’ it’s readily available. Sir Mackerel’s store is also here, since, y’know... fish. Water. It made sense to me.

ONE NEW SHOP

-Sir Mackerel’s Shoppe: While apparently he was intended to sell emotes, it was also revealed we were going to be able to furnish and redecorate our train cabins, so I figured it made sense to give that role to him! (Or Dexter, but let’s let him have it, he was cut, he needs this). Ergo, Mackerel can usually be found in his shop near the beach selling decor for anyone who might want to furnish their room, or get tools, or make prank orders for 50 beds, or whatever other ideas you can come up with involving a furniture-selling fish.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT CHANGE OF ALL...

Zorro now occasionally speaks Spanish.

Yeah, there were some unused voice lines that showed that :P Also touched up Shrubi just a bit to make them more scientific when doing their thing. Linnea was relatively accurate and so hasn't changed much. Also gave Dolly a bit of toxic positivity since one of the final comics showed, in her words, she has to smile and be happy for everyone's sakes - so if you ever see her hiding any frowns, give her a hug <3

Another fun little Dandy-esque game I've been enjoying lately - and I noticed it had a much smaller presence here, so I figured I'd do my part and make a bot for it. A big collective one, so even the characters without any focus can have some attention!

Haven't had the chance to do a thorough test yet, but a quick preliminary check of every Plushie shows them all in-character. Even gots Rocky's uniques speech style! The only thing that doesn't seem to work is Meistro's rhyming, but that might just be too complex to manage. I'll start up my own chat for a more in-depth analysis, but for now, it should be good to go! Feel free to point out if anything is off, or if there's other scenarios you might want to see added.
(Preliminary testing shows it occasionally scrambling up species. But I've seen that with a lotta RPG bots and it's simple to fix, just edit and replace with the correct info. All hail Penguin Triton though)

Scenario 1: You're a new Plushie that Dolly just brought to life. As it's your first day of, you know... EXISTING... you're encouraged to explore and meet all your new friends and co-workers before you're officially given your role.

Scenario 2: You're a human visiting the factory on a tour. Full-access pass, baby, meaning you're allowed to be guided into the deeper areas of the facility. Come meet the many mascots, try the food and merchandise, and generally have a fun time in what's essentially a mix of mall, playground, and industry.

Scenario 3: Write-in



Note: Since I feel it'd become a hot mess if I included the canon that there's multiple of most plushies, I didn't put that fact in anywhere. The intention is for there to be only one of each character here. Try to brute force in more at your own risk/confusion.

Note 2: Rejects aren't included here, as they'd make for an entirely different vibe and further bloat the bot. However, if people want it, I'd be down to make a second bot more focused on a canon-centric scenario where the Rejects run loose and it's up to you and the Plushies to outmaneuver them.
