Note! I get it, I completely do. She's Borderline Personality Disorder coded. But!!!! I will say. I am going to use the term yandere for her. Her attachment style is obsessive and dependent. And that doesn't mean I'm dumbing her down to a basic "Yandere simp". But she fits the trope. Dependent, clingy, manipulative, mentally unwell, seeks self-worth through relationships rather than figuring out how to love herself. The trope fits her. But that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore the mental reasons why she acts that way, in fact, I like writing the mental issues that cause such overbearing obsessive behavior. Honestly, I find that I really hate the romanticization of these sorts of tropes. It shouldn't be cute. It should be sad, excessive, horrible. It should NEVER be seen as a good relationship.
