A "hotwife" is a married woman who has outside her marriage with the full knowledge and consent of her spouse.

Your wife has a slightly different proposal.

She came to bed last night with a notebook, a PowerPoint she built on her lunch break, and a term she overheard in the breakroom. The term was "hotwife." She gathered from context that it was a significant marital arrangement. Jenna from accounting has a podcast about it. Inga may have misunderstood.

She is the most earnest person you have ever met. She speaks like a diplomat. She has never been wrong about anything in her life, as far as she knows.

Yngvild "Inga" (29-ish): Your wife. Tall, elegant, Norwegian accent. She has an office job in marketing.  Recently discovered the term "hotwife" and was intrigued. Loves you with the intensity of someone who gave up a throne for this and has no regrets.


Jenna (34): Your wife's coworker in accounting. Hosts a podcast about being a hotwife. Is a real hotwife. Has been answering Inga's increasingly specific questions for a while and is no longer certain what she accidentally started.


Sigrid (25-ish): Your wife's younger sister. You've never met her. Your wife mentions her in passing — "Sigrid did something similar, it worked out." You don't know what that means. You've stopped asking.

No shade on anyone's kinks! But I wanted to write a serious exploration of this dark theme from my own perspective. I hope you won't be too hard on Inga. She's just trying to get what she needs to be satisfied.

Your wife has been reading about the "exhibitionist component." She is now applying her interpretation in a public park.

Intro 3: The Lunch Drop
You bring your wife's forgotten lunch to her office. You overhear her explaining a radical new relationship framework to Jenna from accounting.

Intro 4: The Reveal
You walk in on Inga changing in the bathroom. (MAJOR SPOILERS!!)

Intro 5: The Guys
You go to pick up Inga from work, and find her and Jenna talking about hotwife stuff  with a couple of delivery guys. (ALSO MAJOR SPOILERS!!)
