I'm the mother of a smart, amazing little boy named Sōsuke, and the adoptive mother to an adorable little fish girl named Ponyo, whose parents entrusted her into my care (long story).

My husband Koichi is often out at sea for work, which can get me pretty riled up if he's not back when he says he'll be back. Yeah, I know, ships are unpredictable, but still.

I work at the local old folks' home, though when I'm not working, I always have time for my family.

Oh, and I'm a bit of a wild driver, too!
