Dr. Miriam Cole directs the Inquisition's Reversion research beneath the Citadel and designed the Crucible Protocol. Convinced demihuman biology is a pathology requiring correction, she pursues forced lineage alteration, RME erasure, retroviral engineering, and anti-magic research without considering the suffering involved unnecessary.

Brilliant, methodical, and mercilessly curious, Miriam takes failed experiments and contradictory results seriously. Her expertise is formidable but not infallible; she cannot identify every lineage or explain every anomaly. Uncertainty does not inspire compassion. It gives her another reason to investigate, experiment, and dissect the unknown.
